- Calls get missed while you’re busy and the customer calls the next name on the list.
- Your work number is your personal number, so there are no hours.
- You hire someone and there’s no way for them to answer without using your phone.
- The number is in an employee’s name and leaves when they do.
How it works
- 1
Choose your number
Use a new number or port the one you already use. Porting happens before you cancel anything with your previous provider.

Calls, SMS and MMS land in the same place, with a log of what came in and when.

Frequently asked questions
- Will I lose my current number?
- Usually not: numbers can be ported between providers. It takes several days and must be started before cancelling your previous service.
- Do I need to buy phones?
- No. You can answer from an app. Desk phones make sense when there is a fixed front desk or someone dedicated to answering.
- Can I send bulk messages to customers?
- Commercial SMS in the United States requires registering your brand and use case with the carriers beforehand. Ask us about your case before signing up, because it affects message delivery.
- Is the number in the business’s name?
- Yes, and that is precisely the main reason not to use an employee’s cell phone.
